Tales From The Crypt Returning To HBO

I'd like to talk about something happening soon, something that will happen to a friend of a friend of mine, ever since July 19, 1996 he has been gone but he is coming back that’s right the title is no joke, the crypt-keeper is coming back for a reboot featuring new and old stories from the first “tales from the crypt” story ever told to even some of todays new stories provided by a short lived reboot in the comic book world by the publishing company papercutz who own the graphic novel rights to many beloved titles such as Denis the menace, the hardy boys, and even Nancy drew, HBO hopes that this run of the crypt-keepers spooky tales of fright will be a homerun and honestly I hope so too, not only did I love all the previous shows and movies, but ive collected the comics themselves for years now. Speaking of the “tales from the crypt” if you have a few comics hidden in long boxes in your garage or closet check to see if you have tales of the crypt number 20 (first issue of the series) or crime patrol number 15 (the first appearance of the crypt-keeper) then you might be sitting on some money how much money exactly? Currently the price range for tales of the crypt number 20 minimum $100 current max range (not guaranteed, depends on you and the auction house you use) is $4,750

Crime patrol number 15 is currently minimum $300 max range is $7,400 (please remember these are not guaranteed promises on money you may or may not get these amounts and its not our fault if you don’t comic price ranges are always changing just stay aware of the market) back to the HBO special now I hope they don’t go crazy with CGI and over power the horror with sappy stories and dramatic monologue id also love to see them incorporate and stay more true to the stories plus honestly…..the vault-keeper and the old witch are an amazing additions as absolutely hilarious comedic relief and I cannot wait to see more updates on this and see where it goes from here I hope its works out this next generation deserves a good downright and hilarious scare.
