Star Wars Parody Of Selena Gomez is Definitely "Good for You"

Heidi Mae is a total nerd! She also happens to be an actress, singer, model, Cosplayer, and co-star of the Heidi Mae YouTube Channel. Together with her brother Joseph, she creates nerdy Music videos, and comedy sketches for their YouTube channel. Some of their most loved videos include "Gamer Girl", and "Star Wars Funk". Heidi Mae was born in Springville NY, August 21st, 1988. She started out performing at the age of 2 with her father Jim Herrington "The One Man Band" And she made her first cosplay at 8 yrs old when she fashioned an Egyptian dress out of towels and a sheet. "What I love about cosplay is how it makes my childhood dreams come true. Sounds cheesy but, When I was 8 years old watching Star Wars while hiding in the hallway. My dream was to be Princess Leia when I grew up. And I know I'm not the only one. How many kids when asked what they want to be when they grow up reply "batman, superman, or megatron" and then get told by adults that it's impossible. But here's the thing, with Cosplay you really can be the hero you always dreamt of becoming. And that's why I love it. Filming our new Star Wars Parody music video was so much fun! We were able to rent out a place in Springfield Missouri that combined the look of Selena Gomez's original video with the Star Wars Vibe we wanted. My Favorite part of shooting was being able to get almost the exact angle and vibe, as her scene in "Star Wars A New Hope" when she's in the cell block and looks up as Luke and Han come to rescue her. If I could change anything in the video, it would be to have more stormtroopers. There's no such thing as too many stormtroopers!

Joseph Herrington is a comedian, actor, singer and co-star of the Heidi Mae YouTube Channel.

Known for their humorous music video parodies like Gamer Girl and Star Wars Funk, Joseph and his sister Heidi Mae have fully embraced their dorkside. Joseph Herrington was born on March 3rd, 1990, in Tampa Florida. His passion for acting and films started with seeing the original Star Wars trilogy when he was six years old. In November 2014 Joseph and his sister Heidi Mae made Gamer Girl, a video game themed parody to Taylor Swift's hit song Blank Space. Recently they released a new Star Wars themed Princess Leia parody to Selena Gomez's song Good For you. When asked what he thought about the new music video and if he would have done anything different he said; "I really love it! Selena Gomez is a talented artist and getting to put a Star Wars spin on her song was a lot of fun. Getting to dress up as a GQ inspired Storm Trooper and bust some intergalactic rhymes was hands down my favorite part! If I were to change anything about the film, it would be to have not filmed in a house that was haunted haha. I mysteriously "misplaced" the key. Heidi and I searched hours! Later that night I found it in my pocket. Some would say it's my fault.. But I like to think that a ghost took it and then put it back cause he felt bad."
