Ever have that thing you're so good at that you claim to be able to do it better than anybody else even when blindfolded? Well Pangaea Panga thought it might be good to have proof of such an event. He started training blindfolded with Super Mario World on June 16th and beat it on a speedrun on June 20th. But who could expect anything less from the guy who beat Super Mario World's hardest level ever, Item Abuse 3.
In his video, Panga put on his blindfold and started a fresh game and you see level by level his progress throughout the game. The Clock read 23:16:36 when he finished Bowser and completed the game. That’s 23 minutes 16 seconds, unbelievable for excluding one of your most dependable senses. I guess blind people can play video games after all, who knew? Panga has everything timed almost perfectly, though it's not a perfect run, which can only add to the believability of the video.
He makes it to Bowser's Castle in 13 minutes and makes a mistake and has to go get some items from another level to take Bowser out. All in all he died three times and got lost once, which isn't so bad when you figure he was blindfolded. With a little more training I am sure he could better his next play through and make much faster speedruns while blindfolded.
I have to throw a shout-out to this man, Congratulations Pangaea Panga! I am sure there is more to come from you, I hope this is only the beginning.
